About Wee Rock Art
My Story
I am blessed to call Calgary, Alberta, Canada my home — a native Albertan, born and raised on a sugar beet farm in the south.
Although we were poor, we spent endless hours searching the coulees of Southern Alberta for treasures — arrowheads, fossils, and the smooth little stones that would one day become my art. I didn't know it then, but I was already collecting the pieces of a life's work.
"Wee Rock Art" was born from a simple wonder: if stones could talk, what stories would they tell? Each rock has existed on this earth for centuries and has its own story to tell of the lives that have walked upon it. I decided that I could help these rocks tell a story — and so Wee Rock Art came to be.
Every piece is made by hand, one stone at a time, from rocks, sea glass, and driftwood. No two stones are ever quite alike, which means no two pieces of my art are either. What you see is the one you'll receive.
